Not only does each of these lack the ingredients acne needs to survive, but they have minerals or vitamins that actually combat acne. So in essence, they are acne killers. And instead of drinking soda, drink water or some sort of juice or fruit smoothies.

Anything you think might cause acne, don't eat it. After about one month, start to add food you think might be a cause of your acne, but don't add more than one item per week. If you eat that item a few times that week and you get acne, you know that helps contribute to your problem, and to stay away from it. If you add more than one item each week and break out, you won't know which item caused the reaction.

Another important aspect of keeping your skin clear of acne breakouts is detoxification. Lemon water, garlic, and yogurt will all help you detoxify. They each contain minerals or vitamins that actually fight against acne. Yogurt has good bacteria that our body likes. It is commonly called Probiotic bacteria.

Probiotic bacteria compete against acne by eating the food and nutrients that acne bacteria need to survive. So when you cut down on the food source available to acne in this manner, you reduce the acne that can breed and grow.

Lemon water helps to stimulate and detoxify the liver and expel fat deposits. It also helps your body to produce more enzymes in the liver to help with detoxification. In order to survive acne causing bacteria need specific conditions to breed, those are areas with low oxygen and high acid levels. The minerals in lemons help offset the acid pockets that can form in our skin.

Garlic helps to lower our bad cholesterol and raise good cholesterol, called HDL. It also helps reduce toxins like lemon water does. So by reducing the toxins, we lessen the possibility of providing the required breeding grounds for acne.

Cutting down on the foods that feed acne, and eating more food that fights acne will clear your skin up easily and quickly.
